I have made doll clothes and baby clothes. I make lap robes for nursing homes, and VA hospital. Several yrs ago Dr told me I would never be able to crochet but I told him God gave me the talent and i had a baby dress to make for my Great granddaughter and I made it.
I am still go on crocheting. I am 79 yrs old. I love making gifts,like toys ,dolls,and things I can finish in a weeks time. I used to make a lot of afghans. Lately I have been crocheting bags, pillows and hats. I enjoy both knitting and crocheting, but, for me, crocheting is more relaxing. Thank you for all your patterns. The very loose crochet makes me feel like I am tangled in threads.
I especially love the pineapple design and the grannie square varieties.. I love to crochet blankets, hats, and bedspreads. I working on bedspreas for all 7 of my grandchildren for Christmas and I am always up for new patterns.
Does anyone have patterns for things like that? Does anyone know how to fix holes in socks? My husband has a bad habit of shoving his foot into his shoes without untying them or turning the tip of them up over the top of his toes like I was told to do as a kid so his socks are very holey not the religious kind.

I do a little but I have 5 gransons under the age of 5 and an 8 yr old son also. If you know of anyone that has some cute boy patterns for free please let me know. My favourite is Amigurumi toys. My great grandchildren love the toys and their mother always appreciates the clothes I make for them. I find it very relaxing and since I am retired I have plenty of time to indulge in my favourite craft. I have been making several afghans this past year including a couple baby afghans.
