Some users don't know where to view downloads on Android phone and tablet, iPad, and iPhone, here are the related instructions. You can find all the downloaded files on Android phones and tablets in an app, called Files or My Files. The downloaded files will be listed there in chronological order. The Files or My Files app is located in the app drawer.
Open the app and tap the Downloads option to view downloaded files on your phone or tablet. Unlike Android devices that save the files in one place, on the iPad and iPhone, downloaded files are not saved or stored in a single location.
They go to the corresponding apps on your iPhone or iPad. If you don't know the exact location of a file, you can use a free iOS data manager to transfer, download, and organize files on your iPhone or iPad. It's far from perfect, partly because today's advanced disk technology makes data-recovery more difficult than it was with the simpler technology of the past. PatriciaFierro Scagliotti. In reply to deleted message. This is Peter, replying via my second profile I am confirming All icons which were on my second proifile also disappeared after Auto Arranging, then all icons except the Dropbox icons re-appeared after setting my Desktop view to Large icons, and stayed when I selected Medium Icons again I'm still reviewing this, one little step at a time.
I think my recent video driver update is one issue The other issue would be that I set all three profile's Desktop to literally use the same physical folder location. I'm slowly checking where the trigger is which causes this issue. This defeats the purpose of my three profiles I want three active work environments, not three environments I need to shut down each time I switch to another profile.
I definitely have the two primary issues Steps I plan to take next: I would have rolled back my display driver or performed a System Restore, however for some reason the Roll Back Driver option is greyed out, and my manual system restore was deleted for some reason when an automatic restore point was created 4 days later. I'm trying to avoid rolling back the display driver. I don't have the prior version and my prior version was not the version before the current version. So I will segregate my Desktop folders next, and repeat all the prior tests :.
In reply to PurefctV2's post on February 20, After segregating my desktop folder for each profile, I still have the issue. I'll load an older driver next. Then I run the game from the main exe file. Then i exit the game. After that, it still displays 'not installed' in my steam library, then I double click on it and then the 'install' dialogue box appears and I click on next button. Then, steam immediately displays that the files necessary for that game is found and do a file integrity check. After the integrity check, it displays "download complete" and the game is ready to play from my Steam Library. I hope this helps you too. Originally posted by Dante Spardason :.

Sep 14, AM in response to sig In response to sig Sorry- not trying to be obtuse. My browser prefs do state that they should go into my Download folder. But they aren't. I use web based mail- being Yahoo Mail. I just tried again to download an attachment. It does not show up in the Downloads folder to the right of the dock. But when I go into the download window showing that the download is complete , it allows me to click a magnifying glass that says "Show in Finder".
THat opens a Download window that is housed under my User name and in there I can find the file. I just don't understand why they stopped going into the downloads folder down in the dock area, since that is supposedly the purpose of having that folder there. Does this make sense? Sep 14, PM in response to sig In response to sig Thank you - it worked! I don't know why the preference got switched when I know I didn't select a different folder, but it is now going there correctly. Thanks again.
